Our Awana club is led by Pastor Thompson and is open to all children between the ages of six and thirteen. The Awana club is based on the Awana ministries (links below). Each club meeting is a mixture of Worship, Teaching and Games during which time we are able to open the Word of God and help to explain it to the children.
Do you know where the name Awana comes from? It comes from the passage in 2 Timothy 2:15: (A)pproved (W)orkmen (A)re (N)ot (A)shamed.
The Awana clubs are held during term times on Friday evenings between 7pm and 9pm. We run a minibus before and after the meeting to allow children that would otherwise not be able to come, to attend.
Sparks is for children from 6 through 8. Truth & Training is for children from 9 through 13. All games times are combined so nobody will feel left out.
